Transport Model Approach to Λ and Λ¯ Polarization in Heavy-Ion Collisions

This paper investigates the symmetry breaking between polarizations of Λ and Λ¯ hyperons in relativistic collisions heavy ions at intermediate low energies. The microscopic transport model UrQMD is employed to study thermal vorticity hot dense nuclear matter formed non-central Au + center-of-mass energies 7.7≤sNN≤62.4 GeV. whole volume an expanding fireball subdivided into small cubic cells. Then, we trace final back their last interaction point within a certain cell. Extracting bulk parameters, such as energy density, net baryon strangeness medium cell, one can obtain cell temperature chemical potentials time hyperon emission. To do this, extracted characteristics have be fitted statistical (SM) ideal hadron gas. After that, polarization both are calculated. We found that increases with decreasing heavy-ion collisions. stronger explained by (i) slightly different freeze-out conditions (ii) space–time distributions Λ¯.
